• Arts: Union Terrace Update

    The ACSEF/Sir Ian Wood plans appear to be moving up a gear with the announcement of the catchily-named ‘City Square Project’ yesterday, alongside an accompanying website.

    Meanwhile, Labour Group Leader Barney Crockett has voiced his support for Peacock Visual Arts, claiming the city could ‘lose everything’ if a new arts centre isn’t part of any development in this P&J article today.

    Looks like January 2010 is going to be a very important time for the future of our city centre as the public consultation begins

      we need to support Peacock in the battle to save union terrace gardens and the proposed contemporary arts centre. Sir Ian Woods concrete vision has no place in a modern, vibrant, cultural city.
